Sonic Youth has canceled its Oct. 5 taping for Austin City Limits. According to sources at ACL, guitarist Lee Renaldo broke his wrist. There’s no official word as to the noise-rockers' appearance at the 2009 Austin City Limits Music Festival, but a spokesperson for Matador Records says it doesn't look good. C3 Presents declined to comment.
